United entertainment presents - Open Mic at the Crown - Hosted by Mal, (Robert Malcom). The next Open Mic is Sunday 13th April from 4pm.This event will be staged on the second Sunday of every month, the last Open Mic was memorable. Put it in your diary.

Easter lands in April and with a Special 3 course seafood dinner on Good Friday 18th April at 7pm, this is a ticketed event at £30pp (Limited space available)

Open all of the Easter weekend, including the Monday with food served as usual.

  We have just been added to the Real Ale Finder app. This app shows our live cask ale selection and our what is coming soon, along with all the tasting notes for the beers. This is a fantastically well thought out app.  Download it now!

Sunday Roast Dinners are back, every Sunday from noon.

We are extending our kitchen opening hours until 9pm, everyday.

Monday - Thursday 12:00 till 3pm then 5 till 9pm

Friday, Saturday 12-9pm allday, and Sunday 12 till late.

The Crown achieved Cask Marque excellence on their Cask Ales and are now on the National beer trail, ask for the QR code to join the trail. We pride ourselves on fine beer everyday; you may notice the new plaque to the left of the front door.

The very popular quiz, hosted by Lisa & Chris, will be held on Sunday 27th April at 6pm.

The two bank holiday weekends in May are shaping up nicely. We are open as usual including the Mondays. Some live music events will be hosted and we are currently ‘willing the sunshine’ to come and join. 

Pipeline -

Takaboys are playing at the Sausage and cider festival and then coming to perform a live set on Saturday 24th May from 4pm. 

Two tone favourites - Two Tonik are playing live in the garden on Saturday 28th June at 4pm
